Temporary room and board at shelter for abused women and children. Services for outpatient and inpatient include: advocacy; support groups; and legal advice. Women must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and must not exhibit any type of violent behavior while in the shelter. Women can be pregnant. Counseling programs are available for children and non-residents. Intake by referral or telephone. Serves female victims of domestic violence and their children. No Fee. Picture I.D. required. Public bus line within 3 to 4 blocks.

Temporary night shelter for women and children. Must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and must not exhibit violent behavior. Apply for vacancy before 3pm. Supper and breakfast served. Call before going to shelter. No new admissions are accepted on Thursdays. Queen of Peace Maternity House is available for pregnant women. Intake by telephone. Serves women and children; no boys over age 5. No Fee. Picture I.D., Social security card, birth certificate and criminal report to be provided for documentation. Emergency shelter for up to three months that offers access to clothing, pharmacy, a day center and dental services. Hot lunches are served 365 days a year, and the Bags of Hope, which is a supper program that provides a bag lunch, is available Monday through Friday. Community Pharmacy is also available; must call for screening process. Women must be looking for work and children must be in daycare or school. Women can be pregnant. Food program and legal services are available to anyone. Intake for legal services is by walk-in or appointment. Serves single women and women with children; no boys over age 12. No Fee. Picture I.D. to be provided for documentation. Public bus line within 3 to 4 blocks.
